Escribimos a Janet Tasajean, la autora de “My life as a book”

Hola Chic@s
Tenemos una agradable sorpresa. Hemos escrito a Janet Tashjian. Ha sido muy amable contestando a nuestros emails.

Here you can read a piece of our email:
From: Mar Bartolomé
To: Janet Tashjian

Dear Janet
I'm Mar, a mother from the school Alonso Berruguete, in Valladolid, Spain, and I'm part of the reading club from this school.

We just read 'My life as a book', one of your books.

First of all, I want to thank you for your book ‘My life as a book’. It’s a wonderful book, not only for children, for adults as well. Your book is funny, entertaining and clever novel, but specially, it’s a very positive reading with a lot of feelings.

It’s a novel that teaches you how to fight, to get over difficulties. It shows us that we all have something to learn and much to teach; that people are sometimes very different than what we think; that we should not be carried away by the appearances because if we know them a bit more, they can give us pleasant surprises; and that sometimes it is better to be kind than to argue to win a dispute.

And, as Derek says, although we sometimes find it difficult to read, we all need stories in our lives.

Our school is an English bilingual school. We know that it's almost impossible for you to visit our school, but we'd love if you could answer us, writing some lines for the children of the reading club.

Thank you very much.
Yours faithfully, Mar
